What's Happening in the World of Disney For November 2024

Be in the know for all things Disney going on during the month of November 2024

Each month, we’ll give you the information you need to plan your trip, whether going to a domestic Disney park, watching Disney+, or just looking to buy something at the Disney Store.

Things to remember for November: there are two holidays: Veterans Day on the 11th and Thanksgiving on the 28th. Also, Jersey Week is from Monday, November 4, to Friday, November 8.

Walt Disney World 🌎 :

November 2024 Events:

Park Hours: Always check park hours before your trip. Ticketed parties and even private special events can change the expected hours.

The 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be held from August 29th to November 23rd at EPCOT. Check the menus to see what yummy dishes are available this year.

Disney hosts several races on weekends throughout the year, and from October 31st to November 3rd is the Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend.

Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will be on November 15th & 16th.

Starting November 1st, Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom will serve breakfast. source: Scott Gustin

November 2024 WDW Refurbishments:

No one likes it when their favorite ride is closed on vacation, but updates and fixes must happen. It's best to know before you go!

🚗 Test Track

Dates: June 17th — 2025

Details: Test Track presented by Chevrolet will close to get a new makeover. Call it Test Track 3.0. Details are sparse, but Disney gave some descriptions on their parks blog.

🏨 Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort

Dates: Sept 2024 — Sept 2025

Details: Beginning in September, the Bay Lake Tower would begin the first major refurbishment in its history.

🌴 Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC Construction

Dates: Mar 1 — December 2024

Details: The Resort remains open, but areas adjacent to the resort are currently being renovated to include new Disney Vacation Club Villas, restaurants, and even new recreation offerings.

Port Orleans - French Quarter

Dates: May 2024 — Spring 2025

Details: Some guest rooms will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.

Everything Pop Shopping & Dining Refurbishment

Dates: Sept 29th — Nov 30th

Details: Please be prepared to use alternate entrances to the food court—and be aware that dining room seating may be limited.

Blizzard Beach Water Park

Dates: March 17th - November 3rd

Details: Seasonal refurbishment; Typhoon Lagoon will be open for guests to experience.

Typhoon Lagoon Refurbishment

Dates: November 4th — TBA

Details: Typhoon Lagoon will close to begin a seasonal refurbishment.
